Legendary Dublin rock act U2 have announced that they will be bringing their long-awaited The Joshua Tree tour to Australia.
It’s been almost a decade since the rock act graced Australian shores, the band were last down under in 2010 supporting their 2009 record, No Line On The Horizon.
The band has been teasing an Australian The Joshua Tree tour since November 2017. When they revealed to 60 Minutes, that they were working on bringing The Joshua Treeanniversary tour to Australia. “Unfortunately, it’s partly the distance and all that stuff, but we absolutely are coming,” The Edge said at the time.
“We want to go, we really do and if there’s any way we can, we will,” added Bono.
