Thank you for choosing to stay with us at the Royal on the Park Brisbane. Below is the hotels terms and conditions, please read them carefully and acknowledge your acceptance.
Credit Card Surcharges
A surcharge of 1.5% applies to all transactions processed at the hotel with a credit card.
Bookings
All reservations require credit card guarantee, due at the time of booking, or a company/ travel agent guarantee. We reserve the right to ask and receive photo id as security to prevent credit card fraud.
Check In and Check Out Times
Check In from 1.00pm, Check Out prior to 11.00am
Early arrivals may be requested however are not guaranteed. The hotel has limited luggage storage facilities available. Should you require an early Check In please contact the hotel directly (a fee may apply). For a late Check Out, please contact reception on the day of departure (fees may apply)
Cancellations and/or Non Arrival
Cancellations and amendments can be made up to 24 hours prior to 1800 on the day of arrival and a refund will be organised. Any cancellation made after this time results in full prepayment being forfeited.
Children Policy
16 years and under – Children
16 and above – Adult
Baby Cots – $10 extra
Additional bedding – from $30.00 per night (pp)
Non Smoking Hotel
Royal on the Park Brisbane is a Non Smoking Hotel, and we ask that you refrain from smoking in your room. Evidence of smoking in rooms will incur a $500.00 cleaning fee on your account. Please help us keep the hotel a smoke free environment.
TRAVELLER ACCOMMODATION PROVIDERS ACT2001
The Traveller Accommodation Providers (Liability) Act 2001 changes the common law about innkeeper’s liability.
Under the Act, an accommodation provider may be liable to make good any loss of a guest’s property in certain circumstances even though the loss is not caused by the fault of the accommodation provider, or the provider’s agent.
The strict liability of the accommodation provider under the Act:
- Applies only to a guest of the accommodation provider on a day when an accommodation unit is provided for the use of the guest
- Is limited to $250 for each accommodation unit provided for the use of the guest on the day, unless the guest’s property was placed in safe custody facilities
- Does not cover motor vehicles and things owned by the guest left in or on motor vehicles
