Can I organise my Wedding Ceremony through Royal on the Park?
Royal on the Park can help organise your perfect Garden Ceremony in the picturesque City Botanic Gardens with a wet weather option available when needed in our elegant draped Southern Cross Pavillion. Ask our Wedding and Events Coordinator upon application for further details.

What is included in the Wedding Reception Packages?
Royal on the Park aims to offer a comprehensive package for your special day. Cocktail Party Packages start from $95.00 per person with the Three Course Alternate Service Menu Package starting from $120.00 per person. Please refer to our “Wedding Packages” section for more details.

What decorating options are available in the Wedding Packages?
Royal on the Park is partnered with one of Brisbane’s best Wedding and Events Decorators, The Party Girls. Together we can theme your Wedding Reception around a variety of ideas to suit your style.

From elegant centre pieces to coloured chair covers and sashes, your Wedding and Events Coordinator can provide numerous concepts for your special day.

Can I upgrade any part of the Wedding Packages?
Wedding Packages can be tailored to suit your particular needs with upgrades of Beverage Packages and theming requirements available at additional costs. Please speak with our Wedding and Events Coordinator about various concepts and ideas that will suit your budget.

Are there any incentives for holding my Wedding Reception on a Sunday?
Our Sunday Wedding Receptions are inclusive of the Royal Wedding Package outlined in our “Wedding Packages” section plus…

• Two fresh floral arrangements for each end of the Bridal Table
• Port served with tea and coffee
• Two complimentary overnight stays in a deluxe room with Full Buffet Breakfast in our Walnut Restaurant for your parents or guests of your choice.

What beverage options are available at my Wedding Reception?

Pre-Dinner drinks are available for 30 minutes in conjunction with your selected Beverage Package in our Southern Cross Pavillion/Courtyard. You may choose to upgrade to a Premium, Deluxe or Platinum Beverage Package at an additional cost per person.

Your Wedding and Events Coordinator is also happy to tailor-make a beverage package to suit your personal tastes and budget.

Spirits are available on cash or consumption basis, depending on your requirements.

Is there an additional fee for room hire?
Room hire is included in our Wedding Reception Packages (based on minimum numbers).

Can I alter the menu options to suit my needs?
There are a variety of menus available for you to choose from that may be tailored to suit your particular needs.

Do you offer a menu for guests attending the Wedding Reception who have special dietary requirements?
We do cater for a variety of special dietary requirements including (but not limited to) vegetarians, vegans, gluten free, lactose intolerant, halal and dairy/wheat free guests. Our Chefs are more than happy to tailor a menu suitable to the guests’ requirements.

May I serve my Wedding Cake as Dessert?
Your Wedding Cake may be served as Dessert with traditional accompaniments which will result in a reduction of the Wedding Package price per person. Please ask your Wedding Coordinator for prices associated with this option.

Is there an additional charge for cakeage?
Cakeage refers to the Chefs cutting your Wedding Cake into finger slices and serving the cake on platters to the guest tables. This service is offered complimentary as part of your Wedding Package.

What prices are associated with catering for teenagers and children?
Royal on the Park welcomes children at your Wedding Reception. We understand the need for catering to your ‘little’ guests.

Ages 4 to 12 years -  $36 per child (2010 Receptions) 
• Chicken nuggets with chips and salad 
• Vanilla ice cream 
• Soft drinks and juice 

Ages 13 to 17 years – standard package price less price reduction for the alcohol component 
• Selected menu as per adult guests
• Soft drinks and juice 

Please note that children under 3 years are complimentary and highchairs are available upon request.

Can you recommend any particular suppliers for my special day?
Upon request, we can provide you with a list of recommended suppliers from florists and entertainment to celebrants and photographers that will assist you in making your Wedding Day an unforgettable occasion.

Do you cater for DJs/band members, photographers or videographers who attend the Wedding Reception?
A “crew meal” may be provided for the DJ, band members, photographer or videographer that includes a main course meal (from your chosen menu) with soft drink and orange juice. Please ask your Wedding and Events Coordinator for prices.

Is there a reduced rate for accommodation for guests wishing to stay in-house?
The Bride and Groom receive a complimentary stay in one of our deluxe rooms on their Wedding night with complimentary Full Buffet Breakfast for two in our Walnut Restaurant.

We offer 153 elegantly appointed deluxe rooms, Spa and Executive Suites ideal for your guests to relax and unwind after your perfect day. Guests staying in-house for your Wedding Reception receive a special discounted rate for their accommodation room and breakfast (subject to availability).

Do you offer car parking facilities on-site?
There are car parking facilities at Royal on the Park that are offered at a special discounted rate for guests staying in-house or attending your Wedding Reception (subject to availability). Please ask your Wedding and Events Coordinator for prices.
